Community Foundations

The seven Community Foundations in the South West are part of a national network of Community Foundations.  There are around 55 in total putting 95% of the population of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales in touch with their communities.  For Foundations across the county please visit the Community Foundation Network website .

Community Foundations are all encouraged to meet the Charity Commission recognised quality standard.

Regular training is provided for all Community Foundation staff, either by their own foundation, in conjunction with others or via our Community Foundation Network.  We have specialist training for our Grants Teams, Development Teams and for the office based teams.
