Community Foundations - Devon
Devon Community Foundation provides a cost-effective and personal way for individuals and organisations to support local causes and community projects and to make a lasting and genuine difference to the lives of local people and local communities in Devon.
Donors can support us by adding to our endowment fund or by providing flow through funding for immediate grant making. We work closely with businesses, families, individuals and trusts helping them achieve their charitable objectives. We advise on charitable giving and find the right projects for donors to support.
We work with community groups who are meeting local needs and all grant applications are monitored and assessed, ensuring money gets to where it really matters and is used effectively. We also advise groups on additional sources of funding, making sure that groups can work towards a more sustainable future.
Until March 2011 donations to the Devon Community Foundation will be eligible for 100% match funding under the governments Grassroots Grants Programme.
Donating £10,000 to us + gift aid + Grassroots match funding = £25,640
