Manifesto for Community Philanthropy launched

The seven foundations in the South West encourages MP's and prospective Parliamentary Candidates to support them in driving forward the local philanthropy agenda.  Key recommendations include:  Match fund challenges, lifetime legacies, philanthropy in schools, gift aid and social enterprise zones/special giving zones.  To read the manifesto in full click here

 

grassroots

From July 2008 until March 2011 all the Community foundations in the South west are administering Grassroots Grants.  This fund is designed to support small local organisations with their work in the community and to provide a pot of match funding to help build a new community of donors.  See the individual Foundation pages for more information.
