Community Foundations - Wiltshire & Swindon
We are dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged people in Wiltshire and Swindon. We do this through funding projects that reduce isolation, improve access to skills development, provide access to social and recreational opportunities, improving opportunities for employment and helping people move on with their lives.
Our supporters provide our funding either by adding to our endowment fund or by providing flow through funding. We work closely with businesses, families, individuals and trusts helping them achieve their charitable objectives. We advise on charitable giving and find the right projects for donors to support.
Our work with groups involves carrying out assessments on grant applications, advising them of additional sources of funding and making sure that groups can work towards a more sustainable future.
Until March 2011 donations to the Community Foundation for Wiltshire and Swindon will be eligible for 100% match funding under the governments Grassroots Grants Programme.
Donating £10,000 to us + gift aid + Grassroots match funding = £25,640
